“ Old school Beers and shots, great place to watch the game and have a decent meal. Great bartenders, friendly clientele. Fun atmosphere. ”
“ Wings are big, juicy, and well cooked. We were surprised the jerk wings were dry rub, but heard they're great with the spicy garlic. I wasn't a big fan of the spicy garlic , but the buffalo were solid and the jerk was really good. The place was busy but didn't have a waitress or waiter for the tables. They also didn't give us plates or napkins until we asked. One of the bartenders did leave the bar to check in on us a few times which was nice. Also weird that they kept my credit card instead of returning after we opened a tab. Would do take out in the future or sit by the bar for better service. ”
“ Nice hometown vibe. Good food & service. Almost like Cheers. That's the best review I can give. ”
“ This bar gets five stars because it's the place to be no matter how long the line is no matter how many ppl are smoking up stuff. They will card you even if you have white hair a walking cane and one tooth left. Ppl party here till 3am and continue the party in the walgreen parking lot. Never tried the food but the ppl outside and inside are the nicest ever. It does look super sketchy tho. Don't take your mom or baby here. They have a huge round bar, some games at the back. It's tiny. Summer time there's a patio beside the loud train station choo choo grab a drink while u wait for your train to the city ”
“ This place was packed! I had a beer and left cause it was standing room only. Nice crowd though! ”
“ Place has a juke box and the use of it is popular. You'd be lucky to have your songs played but usually good music is played anyway. Bartenders are for the most part friendly. It looks a little shady at night but everyone was well behaved plus they have a bouncer for just in case. Drinks are incredibly inexpensive which I believe why it's so popular not including the food which looks delicious but never tried it so can't comment on it but based on looks I'd say yummy looking. It's a dive bar that sells food and inexpensive drinks. If you like that come here. If you're reading this hit the like button hope this helped. You're welcome Yelp and remember be nice to each other. ”
“ Such fun. Love coming here. Casual. Local. Friendliest bartenders. Played pool. Good food. Served nice and hot. Love the house cut fries. This time we had the ends so they weren't as good. The chopped salad was so good. I took some home because it was a huge portion. I will definitely be back. ”
“ Ok, so it doesn't get much better than this on a Sunday funday. Seafood special for crab legs & fresh oysters, steamed clams & even shrimp po boy... what? Come on, we are in Bergen County where you can't even get a decent piece of steak for unde $40. With not much expectation, ordered the crab legs platter with mussels, potatoes and corn for $18.99. Wow, portions are super generous and crab legs were fresh & tasty. Bartenders & workers are friendly and we met some random patrons who became first name basis by the time we were leaving the bar. They serve local brew on tap and also have Sunday bloody Mary specials for $6. If you are in the mood for some deliciousness, here's a dive bar that offers a lot more than just loud music. ”
